In the training, we deal with the basics of awareness and anti-discrimination work, deal with different forms and levels of discrimination, and teach you methods and modules that have been worked on for a long time by various awareness groups and actors throughout Germany so that you can give awareness workshops for the initiative Awareness.

With the awareness platform we create an online network of awareness initiatives, collectives, organizers and actors. You can easily register via this link. Please have a look at our join-in page, where you will find more information about the platform and our netiquette.

Our contact point map gives you an overview of all initiatives and contact points registered with us. There you will also find further information, such as the address and telephone number of the contact points.

On our Get Involved page, you can create a microsite for yourself and your association/initiative. If you fill out everything there, you will automatically appear on the contact point map. Alternatively, you can fill out the questionnaire for the contact points and send it to redaktion@initiative-awareness.de. We will then add you manually. We will then add you manually. Our workshops and consultations are tailored to your needs and are evaluated regularly. This ensures good quality and satisfaction of our participants, but is also more time consuming. It is important to us that educational work is paid fairly, just like awareness work. But we also want as many people as possible to be able to take part in our educational programs - regardless of their own pocketbook.

As you can see, it's a catch-22 situation. Feel free to get in touch with us and don't be afraid to ask questions if you are short of money yourself as a collective.

As a rule, we do not place awareness personnel ourselves. However, we are happy to support you in training new people for your awareness team. Please fill out the request form. Of course it can happen that you are looking for people at short notice. In these cases you can post your requests in the community tool, as long as you meet our must haves.
