The association:
The Awareness Initiative is committed to combating sexualized violence and discrimination in the event context. It advises and supports event venues in the implementation of awareness strategies, trains staff and awareness teams nationwide, organizes further training, conferences and nationwide networking days. In addition, the association looks beyond the event context and develops ways in which the idea of awareness can also be applied in other areas of society.
The association currently employs 15 people who ensure the implementation of the projects at various locations. These include the projects "support f(x) - interface for awareness, anti-discrimination and violence prevention" (nationwide focus), "Sachsen.support f(x) - Saxon interface for awareness, anti-discrimination and violence prevention" (Saxony-wide focus) and the supra-regional project "Awareness Anlaufstelle Nord/ Süd".
As employees of the projects support f(x) and support f(x) - Interface for Saxony, we work in a grassroots democratic, self-organized and cross-project cooperative manner. To support our work, we are looking for a committed person to help our association improve team structures and processes.
