Network meeting

Current challenges and topics of awareness work in Saxony - also away from the big cities: We cordially invite you to the network meeting!

On Saturday, September 30, 2023, starting at 1 p.m., we will open the doors of Azadi (Georg-Schwarz-Straße 1, 04177 Leipzig) for an exciting event on the topic of "Current challenges and issues in awareness work in Saxony - even away from the big cities". This meeting offers a unique opportunity to network, discuss current issues and work together on solutions.

For whom? Our network meeting is for all interested individuals, organizers, political groups, awareness structures or people who take over awareness shifts. No matter if you are already active in awareness work or just curious and want to learn more about it - you are welcome!

The Program: Our program is designed to create an open and inviting atmosphere in which to share ideas and explore topics together. Here is a rough outline:

• 13-14 h: Introductions and getting to know each other
• 14-16 h: Collection of topics and exchange in different formats
• 16-17 h: Exchange in the plenum and content conclusion
• From 5 p.m.: Joint Küfa (kitchen technical term for kitchen and grasping) as part of the Stronger Together Congress, as well as the opportunity to spend the evening informally, for example with a refreshing soda.

Registration: It is possible to attend unregistered, but we welcome registration. If you already know you will be attending or would like to suggest specific topics for discussion, your feedback will help us greatly. Likewise, we are open to any questions or special needs. Awareness concept: We attach great importance to all participants treating each other with respect. At the beginning we create space for the exchange about different needs. We will also prepare a short awareness concept, which will be explained and briefly discussed at the beginning. We try to create a space for retreat during the meeting.

Barriers: Please note that unfortunately Azadi is not barrier free. Some of the barriers include:

• No threshold free entrance
• Toilets accessible only by stairs
• Lack of guidance systems
• The event takes place in German spoken language
• The bar opens only after 5 pm
• The interior rooms are smoke-free during the network meeting
• Streetcar and traffic noise audible in the interiors
