Dear friends and interested parties,

We are delighted to invite you to our COL-LAB awareness symposium! On this day, you will have the opportunity to deal with current developments and challenges in the field of awareness and to network with other actors and projects.

What was originally anchored in the nightlife subculture has now become a mainstream topic. For us, this is reflected in the fact that we now receive requests from sports and cultural associations, large city festivals, trade unions and companies that want to hold awareness workshops for their employees.

This development brings with it new opportunities, but also challenges. We want to discuss the following questions at the symposium: How can the approaches originally anchored in social movements be successfully transferred to other, less self-organized structures and spaces? What are the risks of increasing institutionalization, especially with regard to a possible depoliticization of the concepts?

The aim is to gain a better understanding of current developments in the field of awareness and to discuss possible concepts and strategies for the future. To this end, we have invited people from the awareness sector to discuss the topic together on the podium.

Please register here so that we have an overview of how many people are coming!

You can ask general questions about the symposium at fachtag@initiative-awareness.de.

We look forward to seeing you!

Your team of the Initiative Awareness e.V.
