A brief review
At the "Live Democracy!" program conference on March 18 and 19, we as the Awareness Initiative were at the program conference of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) together with a few of our trainers. Our project support f(x) is funded by the federal program "Live Democracy!", which is why we had an information stand (see picture) at the conference. Many different associations, projects and partnerships of the funding program were on site and were invited to network with each other, exchange ideas on current topics and talk together about the future of the funding programs. We had great and exciting conversations with people who are working on fantastic and important projects! The Federal Minister for Family Affairs, Lisa Paus, and the Federal Queer Commissioner, Sven Lehmann, were also there and talked about the current (political) situation, among other things.
We took away important ideas for our funded project from the conference and are in the process of submitting a new application for the next funding period. We hope to be able to implement our new ideas in 2025!
