With over 10 years of experience in the field of awareness, anti-discrimination work and as event organizers, our team is ready to support you in the introduction or further development of awareness structures. We work in a stakeholder-centered and practice-oriented way. Awareness concepts are as diverse as the world of events. We tailor our consulting and training services to your individual needs.

Awareness means establishing and maintaining a considerate, responsible and solidary way of dealing with each other. The aim is to create spaces that strengthen the self-determination of different communities - in a spirit of partnership and solidarity. With awareness work, we learn together to respect the boundaries of all and to counter discrimination and violence. And we learn how to support people who (have to) go through discriminatory experiences.

During a detailed meeting, we can discuss your current status with regard to awareness, clarify your needs and design a process that is individually adapted to you. Are you interested in an awareness workshop? You would like to get a first overview of what awareness means? You lack qualified awareness people? Your team has many new people? You want to train specific trades?

We offer a range of training and workshop formats for different target groups. Our workshops and consulting sessions are tailored to your needs and are evaluated regularly. This ensures a good quality and satisfaction of our participants, but also requires a little extra time. Our trainers have many years of experience in awareness work. Costs are calculated according to your self-assessment.

• Introductory workshops: We will give you a first insight into what awareness actually is and what attitude is necessary for it.
• Training of awareness teams: We are happy to take on the training of awareness teams. Here, the focus is on practicing the awareness attitude, the practical implementation of support conversations, self-care and self-protection.
  
• Training for different trades: We offer workshops for security personnel, security, bar, night managers, CVD's, public relations, jurors or people with management responsibility. Twice a year, our 5-day Train-the-Trainers trainings take place - in spring, registrations are open nationwide, in fall for participants from Saxony. The details of the respective registration process and the exact dates will be announced via our newsletter, Telegram and Instagram channel. The goal of these trainings is to train new trainers of the Initiative Awareness.

In the training, we teach proven methods and modules and enable participants to be able to give awareness workshops for the Initiative Awareness. The participants should have already dealt with anti-discrimination and awareness work in depth. Based on this, we raise awareness of principles and minimum standards in awareness work and convey the content of our workshops.

Decisive for the selection of the trainers are on the one hand experiences in awareness and anti-discrimination work and the willingness to work as a freelancer for the Initiative Awareness. However, the awareness field also reflects social realities. Therefore, it is equally important for us to encourage people who have experienced discrimination themselves to apply.

Our info flyer provides guests with assistance in several languages on the questions: What can I do if I myself experience, observe or cause discrimination or (sexualized) violence? The fabulous Awareness Artist Studio (German, English)
Massage your stereotypes, polish your attitudes, refine your standards!
The Nail Artist Studio won our competition for artistic interventions for visitors. The format developed by Rave Awareness is a low-threshold offer for the event context to sensitize people to the topic of discrimination and encourage them to reflect on it.

It is a nail salon where visitors can have their nails painted or their hands massaged. There are also reflection questions that participants can think and talk about during the process.
The AwarenessArtist Studio should radiate an appealing atmosphere and invite people to engage with the topic of awareness in a low-threshold way and have their nails beautified in the process. You can find instructions here. (Password: awareness2024_)

Video, Jingle & Consent Gallery: Club Awareness Safety (English)
As part of the artistic interventions, various jingles, a video (with sound) and the Consent Gallery in the form of several posters for self-printing were created together with Allia (A.E.) Sadeghipour. In English, Allia addresses topics of LGBTIQ* and BIPoC clubbers and conveys them with a large portion of humor in the style of an interactive Clubline (airlines) safety video. Individual communication concepts

We understand awareness as a movement and see ourselves as part of it. We are always interested in exchange and learning together. By establishing and linking contacts in different formats, creating moments of exchange, and developing long-term perspectives together, we want to contribute something to this movement.

We want to contribute to establishing and maintaining a practice of solidarity within the movement.

Fachtag
The largest networking format is the Fachtag. This is where actors and interested parties from German-speaking countries and beyond meet. Besides aspects of networking and getting to know each other, the focus is on content panels with workshops, lectures and discussions. Network meetings
In addition to the symposium, network meetings on various topics are held at shorter intervals. Depending on the thematic and spatial focus, they take place at different locations. The respective dates are communicated via the platform and newsletter .

Roundtables
The awareness approach is based on experiential knowledge and the exchange of this knowledge. That's why we want to bring current topics that are closely or remotely related to the topic of awareness and anti-discrimination to the table and promote exchange.
